Foot en codigos HTML

Todos sabemos que la estructura de un sitio web creado con HTML seria asi:
<html>
<head>
…
</head>
<body>
…
</body>
…
</html>
Pero si existe el head, por que podriamos utilizar algún foot, de esta manera quedaria asi:
<html>
<head>
…
</head>
<body>
…
</body>
<foot>
…
</foot>
</html>
